Some pretty colors in this day moth. Love theway it acccents the dandelion yellow. Not sure which is the better foil for which. But they both shine in daylight.

Dragonfly
Dragonflies are indeed my other favorite spring and summertime subject. Early morning when the dew is still on the ground. Nothing beats that early morning sparkle of light. I meander through the back field, stop, wait, walk a little further. Looking forward to their appearance this year.
Pollen Gathering
Flowers and bees were some of my favorite subjects to photograph last spring and summer. Not a lot of bees to see yet this year.

In the spring my favorite subjects are insects and wildflowers. This year the weather hasn’t allowed for much to be seen yet this spring as far as insects. But there have been lots of wildflowers. Here’s an up close and personal shot from last year.
