Steller’s Jay with a touch of color


A Steller’s Jay checking out the world below.  Just a glance over his shoulder. And a mix of cheerful yellows and greens and ribbons of blue.  Angles and curves, shadow and light.

Named for the German naturalist, Georg Wilhelm Steller who first saw it in Alaska. c. 1741.
